NEWCASTLE UNITED were reportedly “ready to sell” Anthony Gordon to Liverpool this week - and could still offload him before TOMORROW.

The Daily Mail claims that the Magpies were willing to cash in on Gordon as “they strive to comply with financial rules”.

Elsewhere, Tottenham are in early discussions with Leeds over the signing of wonderkid Archie Gray.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich have agreed a £50million deal to sign Crystal Palace star Michael Olise, according to reports.

    But, despite a move to the Premier League touted, he insists he is happy where he is.

    GETAFE have announced that Mason Greenwood has been named their player of the season as his future remains up-in-the-air.

    The 22-year-old leftManchester Unitedon loan last summer after it was agreed he would be best trying to resurrect his career away from Old Trafford.

    hat was after he was been arrested in January 2022 on suspicion of a number of offences including attempted rape only for the theCrown Prosecution Service to subsequently drop the charges13 months later when key witnesses withdrew and new material came to light.

    The forward started the campaign in fine form and received the player of the month accolades fromGetafein both December and April.

    Borussia Dortmund legend Paul Lambert believes Jadon Sancho should push for a move to the German club.

    Sancho enjoyed a successful loan in the Bundesliga, after falling out of favour under Erik Ten Hag.

    Lambert told Betway: "At Dortmund, Sancho has gone into a really good dressing room, a good culture with good guys and he gets respect.

    Tottenham are in early discussions with Leeds over the signing of whizkid Archie Gray.

    The 18-year-old had looked set to move to Brentford and was even undergoing a medical with the West London club.

    But the £40million switch looks to have broken over a payment structure.

    And now Spurs, who have a long-standing interest in England Under-21 international, have begun talks with the Whites over a possible transfer.

    Midfielder Gray only turned 18 in March but made 44 appearances last season.

    He is the great nephew of Leeds and Scotland legend Eddie Gray but was born in Durham.

    Leeds are under pressure to sell after missing out on promotion, losing the Championship play-off final to Southampton in May.
